Brief info
Grew up in Seaford and played 4 years of varsity lacrosse. In high school earned the Long Island Metropolitan Lacrosse Foundation Scholarship Award 2017...Named to the 2017 Top 100 Newsday Lacrosse Players... Earned All-Conference honors in three sports lacrosse (2015 and 2016), soccer (2016), and basketball (2017)...Obtained All-County honors for lacrosse in 2017. Went on to play in college at Molloy College where was a starting defender all 4 years and a 2-year captain. In 2019 and 2021 seasons, named All-Conference First Team. In 2020 season, was named Preseason Defender of the Year before our season unfortunately got cut short due to the pandemic. Graduated in 2021 with Bachelor in Speech Language Pathology and went on to pursue Master’s degree. Currently in Graduate school to obtain Masters in Speech Language Pathology and will be graduating in May 2023. Kaitlyn has been coaching girls lacrosse since 2018 for girls from ages 5-17. She is the head coach for Recon Girls 2031 and the assistant coach for Recon girls 2024. Meyer will be starting career as the head coach for the varsity program at Our Lady of Mercy Academy in the Spring.
