- Krysta played for New Hyde Park HS and helped the Gladiators to win an undefeated Conference title.
- Krysta played Division II lacrosse at Long Island University Post. She was named to the East Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll.
- After LIU, Krysta attended NYIT and received her Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
-She has coached youth summer lacrosse camps at Herricks High School and through PAL Lacrosse.
